Characteristics

To the eye, it presents itself with a rich and intense color, varying between dark gold and deep brown, with warm reflections that underline its complexity. The aroma is complex and deep: gentian and thistle emerge with their earthy and bitter notes, while orange peels give a citrus freshness that softens the character of the liqueur. Juniper berries, with their resinous and balsamic aroma, complete the bouquet, adding a spicy and enveloping note.

On the palate, the amaro opens with a strong but balanced bitterness, in which the gentian and the thistle give body and structure. The orange peels offer a fresh and slightly sweet contrast, while the juniper berries offer a balsamic nuance that further enriches the drink.
