Characteristics

A refined and aromatic cheese, born from the encounter between the dairy tradition and the elegance of Pinot Grigio Rosé. Made with cow's milk and aged for at least eight months, it is first refined in marc, absorbing its intense aromas, and then immersed in rosé wine, which enriches the rind with fruity and floral nuances. The final touch is the covering with dried red rose petals, which give the cheese an elegant appearance and a delicate and persistent aromatic note. The result is a perfect balance between flavor, softness and fragrance, with an enveloping aftertaste that recalls the bouquet of the wine.

Pairings

Ideal to accompany with acacia honey or rose petal jam, which enhance its delicacy without overpowering its flavor. It pairs splendidly with a Pinot Grigio Rosé or a Moscato Fior d'Arancio, wines that amplify its aromatic notes. Perfect with toasted almonds, pecan nuts and multi-grain bread, it pairs perfectly with refined dishes such as a risotto with rosé wine and rose petals, where the creaminess of the cheese blends with the lightness of the wine. Also try with a carpaccio of fish marinated in citrus fruits and pink pepper, for a fresh and elegant combination. Finally, excellent as the protagonist of a gourmet platter, perhaps paired with delicate cured meats such as sweet raw ham or aged bresaola.

The product arrives vacuum-packed and should be stored in the refrigerator at 2-8°C. Once opened, it should be consumed within 7-10 days, storing it in the refrigerator at a temperature between 0°C and 4°C. To maintain its quality, it is advisable to wrap it in food paper or store it in an airtight container, avoiding contact with other cheeses so as not to alter its flavor.
