Chestnuts in syrup of the highest quality. Only chestnuts from our Emilian Apennines, where the most famous and most renowned chestnut groves in Italy are to be found. We add to these delights of the forest, Premium quality Rum, Bourbon Vanilla (famous for being the absolute best vanilla in terms of taste and aroma) and a little Italian Cinnamon. The result is a product with a long mountain tradition, which was used to preserve chestnuts throughout the year. The aroma is unmistakable, intense, sweet and aromatic with hints of rum and all the scents of chestnuts. The flavour is complex, where the goodness of the chestnut, the refinement of Bourbon vanilla and the slight intensity of rum stand out. Try it to believe!
These superlative chestnuts in syrup are created in a small workshop located in Serramazzoni, in the heart of the Modenese Apennines, not far from where they are harvested. The name of the laboratory is D8; it is a place where new delicacies of the territory are continuously researched and new products are combined in new and different combinations to make them stand out even more from each other.
